My training institution, NLP School Barbara HM Bochenek & Tomasz Ozmina, is officially recognised and certified by ABNLP.
Why ABNLP?
The American Board of NLP, originally part of the American Board of Hypnotherapy (ABH) and established in 1996 as a distinct entity, is a globally respected authority in the field of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
With over four decades of experience in upholding high standards, ethics, and business integrity in both NLP and hypnotherapy, it serves as a hallmark of quality and credibility.
ABNLP Standards
ABNLP ensures a consistent global standard for NLP training. For example, an NLP Practitioner training in the UK, Germany, or Australia matches what learners would receive in the United States. The key difference lies in presentation style, duration, and technical enhancements — but the curriculum remains the same.
Specifically, for the NLP Practitioner level, ABNLP requires:
- A minimum of 120 hours of training in foundational NLP patterns, delivered by a Certified Trainer or a Master Practitioner under trainer supervision
- Mastery of essential NLP skills and techniques, including outcome orientation, rapport building, pacing and leading, calibration, Meta-Model and Milton-Model language patterns, anchoring, reframing, strategies, behavioral flexibility, and many more
These rigorous standards ensure that certified practitioners have both the theoretical knowledge and practical competence to apply NLP ethically and effectively.
